Van Stapleton

Van is a 27-year resident of Clarendon Hills who is a semi-retired farm manager and now spends much of the winters in Bluffton, SC with his wife, Stephanie (also a Green Halo Volunteer). A Vanderbilt University grad, he enjoyed a 30+ year career in mortgage banking/ sales management with over 17 years at JPMorgan Chase and several mortgage banking companies. As a past board member at his church, several recreational clubs and with GoodCity Chicago (a non-profit incubator) he has enjoyed helping others to maximize their potential for themselves, their families and in their communities. Van has most recently been working with several Green Halo scholars in their pursuit of internships and permanent employment. A father of three adult children, he enjoys spending time with his family, all sports with a racquet, fishing and golf.
